Multicultural Festival 2018 - Opportunities for Club/Student Group Contribution
The FUSA Multicultural Festival will be held from Tuesday 7th August 2018 to Wednesday 8th August 2018. Cultural clubs and student groups will have the opportunity to represent their country & culture across each themed day. The opportunities for clubs and student groups to participate in Multicultural Festival include the below. Cultural Food & Beverage StallClubs and student groups are invited to host a cultural food and/or beverage stall. Please note that the club may only host a Food & Beverage stall on ONE day only. The rostered day is at the discretion of the Event Management Team. One Bain Marie, food containers, sporks (combined food/fork), serviettes and cleaning products will be provided. Please note that food may not be cooked at the event. Food requiring cooking must be organised beforehand and stored at appropriate temperatures be be placed in the Bain Marie/Food Warmers.
FUSA affiliated clubs may apply for up to $70 in reimbursement (upon providing receipts to FUSA) for the cost of ingredients. The club must ensure its stall and bain marie are clean at the end of the day to be eligible for this reimbursement after the event. Reimbursement is not available to groups that are not affiliated as a club with the Flinders University Student Association.
Exhibition/Activity StallClubs and student groups are invited to teach "hands on" class activities and workshops in the Hub and Plaza in a range of activities, such as Dance, Craft, Games, Singing, etc.
FUSA affiliated clubs may apply for up to $50 in reimbursement (upon providing receipts to FUSA) for the cost of equipment/supplies incurred if offering an activity at their stall. The club must ensure its stall is clean at the end of the day to be eligible for this reimbursement. Reimbursement is not available to groups that are not affiliated as a club with the Flinders University Student Association.
Performances and DemonstrationsClubs and student groups are invited to perform (sing, dance, etc.) or demonstrate cultural activities in the ground floor of the Student Hub. The performance area will be the carpeted area in the centre of the ground floor (closest to the central staircase and exit leading to the Plaza lawns). The performance area is a space of approximately 14 square metres, however please ensure you check the site prior to the event to ensure your performance fits comfortably within this space.
Each club will be provided with the opportunity to host a Food & Beverage Stall at the Multicultural Festival on one day only. Please note that this is subject to availability, and the club's rostered day is at the sole discretion of the Event Management Team.

All other equipment, utensils, ingredients and other resources for this food stall are to be provided by the applicant.
Affiliated clubs of FUSA may apply for up to $70(AUD) in reimbursement for the cost of required ingredients. Official itemised receipts from the place of purchase must be provided to be eligible for reimbursement. Reimbursement will not be available for items other than the ingredients and related cooking materials under any circumstances. Reimbursement is not available to groups that are not an affiliated club of the Flinders University Student Association.
Please note that the club is responsible for cleaning their stall (including the Bain Marie) at the end of each day. At the discretion of FUSA, clubs that fail to adequately clean their stall and Bain Marie may have access to the reimbursement above revoked.

All other items are to be provided by the applicant. Electrical items may only be used if they have a current tag (e.g: dated within 12 months of use) indicating the item has been electrically tested.
Your Budget Total is greater than $100. Please adjust your budget to ensure the Budget Total is under $50 to continue.

All other equipment is to be provided by the applicant and cannot be requested. It is important that all equipment the applicant intends to use for this performance is listed below. All electrical equipment must have evidence of current electrical testing and tagging.
