Well, FUSA may well be able to help!
FUSA Development Grants are awarded twice a year and for amounts up to $800. The amount you apply for can’t exceed 85% of the budgeted costs, but a Development Grant will certainly help you get on your way.
Of course, there are rules when applying, so make sure you read the grant criteria really closely.
Semester 1 Development Grants 2019
Open: 25th Feb
Close: 22nd March
Applications must be for activities taking place from the 23rd March 2019 until 24th August 2019.
Semester 2 Development Grants 2019
Open: 22nd July
Close: 16th August
Applications must be for activities taking place from the 17th August 2018 until 16th February 2020.

What is a Financial Hardship Grant?
The purpose of a Financial Hardship Grant is to assist students, enrolled in their second or later year of an award at Flinders University, to continue their enrolment in their current course.
Grants will be available to students who are experiencing financial hardship and are ineligible for a loan or for whom a loan would be inappropriate.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate that other sources of assistance have been sought and are unavailable or inappropriate.
The value of individual grants awarded will be $500.
Applicants must be:
(a) Enrolled in the second or later year of an award of the University (successfully completed at least 36 units of study in your current course); and
(b) Able to demonstrate that the provision of the grant will assist them to continue their enrollment in their current course; and
(c) Able to show that other sources of financial assistance have been sought and are unavailable or inappropriate.
