FUSA is shutting up shop over the holiday season and will close from 12:00pm on Friday 17th December 2021 and open again Monday January 10th 2022.

Our Financial Counselling and Academic Advocacy services will be unavailable during this period, and all emails sent to student.assist@flinders.edu.au will be responded to upon our reopening in January 2022.

You can still contact us via out socials or at fusa@flinders.edu.au, and we’ll get back to you upon our return in the new year!

If you are having financial difficulties, AnglicareSA are administering Emergency Financial Assistance on our behalf for enrolled Flinders University Students.

AnglicareSA are available each weekday between 9.00am and 4.00pm, other than recognised Public Holidays.

Emergency Financial Assistance

• Phone 0481 151 569 between 9.00am and 4.00pm and identify yourself as a Flinders University Student
• After speaking with the worker, you will be required to text a photograph of your Flinders University Student ID card to this number
• You will then be supplied with a Woolworths E-voucher via text, please note this may not be immediately but will be before close of business that day.
• There is a limit of one voucher per week during this time

Flinders After Hours Crisis Support Line

Call 1300 512 409 or text 0488 884 103. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week between 19th December and 10th January.

Please don’t hesitate to contact this number if you are emotionally distressed, experiencing mental health issues, or having thoughts of self-harm.

The counselling service will be closed from 5:00pm Friday December 17th 2021 and will reopen 9:00am Monday January 10th 2022.
