What is Empire Times?

A magazine for the ideas, work and lives of Flinders students.

Empire Times is Flinders University’s student magazine, published in print four times a year and online throughout the year. It covers student life, culture, politics, creativity and the issues students care about.

The student editorial team sets the direction, works with contributors and helps turn writing, artwork, photography and ideas into something students will actually want to pick up and read.

The 2027 team

Three students. One magazine.

Work across commissioning, contributor support, editing, ideas, digital content and the practical production of each issue.
