The Advocacy and Welfare Team assists students with a range of academic and finance related issues. We’ll work with you to assess your situation and come up with possible courses of action.
This service is available to all currently enrolled students at Flinders University and is free, independent and confidential. Our service includes academic advocacy and financial wellbeing support, plus assistance, information and referrals on many of the issues affecting the lives of students.
Whether you’re dissatisfied with a grade, struggling to make financial ends meet or are trying to wrap your head around University policy, the Advocacy and Welfare Team is here to help!
Get help with Financial Matters
Get information and advice from our Financial Wellbeing Officer regarding government assistance, hardship loan variations, personal finances, budgeting and more. We can also help out with Emergency Financial Assistance.
Get help with Academic Advocacy
Get help with re-marks & re-submissions, grade appeals, academic integrity issues, placement problems, issues with University staff and remission of student fees.
